Our Story
Hi, we are Ryan & Eleni - the owners of The Quarter Butcher!
While opening a butcher shop was a “dream” we talked about, we decided to take it seriously in summer of 2023. Within a few months of our decision, we sold our house in Maplewood & moved back to St. Charles to start finding our butcher shop location.
With two small kids, we would work on the business in chunks & do our best to keep moving things forward - and finally we found our spot in Dardenne Prairie.
With Ryan’s chef background & Eleni’s knowledge in science - this combo will bring a unique perspective to the butcher shop, unlike others around.
We are excited to bring this dream to our home community - thank you for welcoming us, it is an honor to be a part of your meal!

Ryan’s unique background in the local restaurant scene gives him the ability to break down the meat & give guidance on how to prep it in the kitchen. He teaches the “why”, not just the “what” about meat.
